Anyone who resigned recently got a job In Java Tech Stack

Hi All,

I'm thinking to resign from my current org its due to toxic team and environment.
It very hard to work even though giving 100% it not worth
Currently working at Product Company Notice Period 90 Days
YOE is 4
Current comp is 20.5
so anyone who resigned recently and became immediate joiner did you at least get interview calls from good companies through naukari, Linkedin

People Who Got Laid Off Recently How Long Did It Take You to Find a Job?

Hi All,
I am an SDE with 4 YOE in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka. I would say I’m fairly good in DSA and average in System Design.
I wanted to ask people who were recently laid off how long did it take for you to get another job?
I feel like I may get laid off anytime soon, so I’ve already started applying. I would say I have good preparation in Java and DSA, and I can solve medium-level interview problems.

However, even after updating my Naukri profile and applying consistently for the last 2 months, I didnot get any interview calls

Currently:

  • Notice Period: 90 days
  • CTC: 20.5 LPA

Since I might get laid off anytime so NP will not matter, I wanted to ask for suggestions on how to increase interview calls in the current market.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Backend engineer with 4 YOE struggling with balancing DSA vs system design preparation

Hi All

I’m currently preparing for product-based companies and trying to understand where to spend most of my preparation time.

I have 4 YOE in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL, and AWS. I completed the NeetCode 250 sheet and can solve most medium-level variations comfortably,

For people who recently interviewed for backend roles with similar experience:

  • Were DSA rounds harder than NeetCode 250 level?

Would appreciate practical insights from recent interview experiences.

Hi All,
I am a Software Engineer with 3.8 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, AWS, SQL, and Redis.
I made a job switch last year, and currently I feel that I might get laid off in the next 2-3 months. Given the current tough job market, I wanted to understand what the probability is of getting a new job.
My current CTC is 20.5 LPA. I would rate myself as moderate to good in DSA and average in system design (currently improving in this area). My fundamentals are strong.
I have savings that can support me for about 2 months if I get laid off. Do you think it is realistic to secure a job within 2 months after a layoff.

Hi all,

I am currently job hunting. I’ve applied to a lot of positions, but I’m mostly getting rejections or no response at all.

I also tried asking for referrals on LinkedIn. People accept my connection requests, but when I send them the job ID, my resume, and a short introduction, they usually don’t reply.

One time, someone accepted my request and had their phone number listed on LinkedIn. I messaged him on WhatsApp with my resume and the job ID, but he got upset and said things don’t work like that, then blocked me. I guess I should have reached out only through LinkedIn.

So yeah, it feels really hard to get referrals in the current market. I just hope things improve in the coming years and that God shows some mercy to people trying to switch jobs.

I am a Software Engineer with 4 years of experience in Java, Kafka, Spring Boot, and SQL.

EDIT: People are really mean nowadays. They even justify why they won’t give a referral. I used to think people on LinkedIn missed messages, but they don’t they see them and choose to ignore them. We’re living in one of the most beautiful places
