My new glasses seem to hover way too far off my face. I’m not sure of the correct terminology lol. I can fit my hand underneath them without shifting them. In direct lighting, the glasses cast pretty major shadows onto my cheeks. Do they look as weird as I think they do and could this be adjusted?

I also feel like the size of the frame is just too big for my face, and hit my cheeks a little lower than I would like. Should I just try to exchange them and get some smaller, more rectangular glasses that hug my face a little tighter? Advice needed. If you think there’s a style that would look better, please let me know!
