Itinerary check - London, Bath, road trip in July
I posted another itinerary yesterday with London, York, and Edinburgh. This is an alternative I'm thinking of... Interested in thoughts on this one.
Very high level itinerary. Open to any advice or suggestions! We want to see the main sights, but with some time to wander and not feel too rushed. Thanks in advance!
Arrive Sun 7/19 morning at LHR - big Ben, Buckingham palace
Mon 7/20 - London - British museum, walking/food tour, west end play
Tues 7/21 - Oxford daytrip
Wed 7/22 - London - St Paul's, globe, Tate modern
Thurs 7/23 - London - free morning, hp studio tour in pm
Fri 7/24 - London - tower bridge, Tower of London, mostly free day
Sat 7/25 - Bath - arrive by train around noon. Crescent, roman baths
Sun 7/26 - Bath - rent a car and drive to either Cotswolds, or Gloucester/wells/cheddar area
Mon 7/27 - Winchester - drive to Stonehenge, stop in Salisbury (cathedral).. afternoon/evening in Winchester
Tues 7/28 - Arundel - drive here, stop somewhere along the way (where?), Arundel castle
Wed 7/29 - Arundel - drive to Brighton /seven sisters for the day (or open to other suggestions)
Thurs 7/30 leave in late morning from lhr airport
