Migraines secondary to ptsd

I am 70% for ptsd and now need to file for migraines secondary to it. Has anyone gone through this process? If you could share your knowledge that’ll be so helpful as I am lost. Thank you in advance

I just filed my claim after 15 years of getting out of the military. I was diagnosed with ptsd mdd and a few other mh conditions by a private doctor recently and the c&p examiner also diagnosed me with same conditions during my exam yesterday. I was infantry deployed to Iraq but I never went to seek treatment in the military for mental health and it wasn’t until now (15 years) after leaving military I started seeing a doctor for my mental health. I have a nexus written by my private doctor but I was wondering if that long gap of no history and documentation can lead to a denial. Has anyone been in a situation like this? Thanks in advance
