They are all over

I lived in central Va. and I’ve had multiple experiences. As a teenager in the 90’s a few times and then as an adult in the 2020’s. In rural Orange County. Outside the tent and in the woods while walking at night. As a kid and outside a camper and pulled a healthy 6” branch down right next to the camper. Like in front of the door so you had to move it to get in. They’d tap the door and made noises. Heard it walk up to and away from the window.
