Ulcerative colitis /crohns disease

I've been back and forth the doctor for 16 months and finally been referred to gastroenterology and for certain scans after a stool sample showed signs of IBD ....I'm currently taking paracetamol gabapentin lansoprazole and another antacid ....I'm in agony from under my ribs to the bottom of my torso pain in chest and kidneys none of the medication is working I'm having flares every 3 days and they are lasting 3 days im exhausted..the doctor hasn't given any advice about diet or anything 😢 how do I manage these symptoms while I'm waiting for gastroenterology
