I have a Fanatec CSL DD 8Nm, and ever since LMU came out I’ve been having this issue...

Whenever a car starts losing grip (oversteer/understeer), I feel absolutely nothing through the FFB. In other sims like iRacing, I can clearly feel through the wheel when I’m starting to lose the car. In Assetto Corsa as well, the FFB gives me clear information about grip loss and weight transfer.

But in LMU it feels impossible.

The moment the car loses grip, the wheel just goes dead. I don’t get any useful feedback through the FFB, so the only way I notice the car is sliding is visually, by seeing the rear rotate too much or the front push wide. It honestly feels like the FFB just switches off whenever the tires lose grip.

Does anyone know why this happens?

It makes no sense that I have to rely almost entirely on visual cues instead of feeling what the car is doing through the wheel, otherwise I just spin constantly.

I’ve also seen other people on the LMU forums describing the exact same issue. Here’s a comment from someone that perfectly explains what I’m experiencing:

This part especially describes it perfectly:

Honestly, this is probably my biggest issue with LMU right now. The driving itself can be great, but the lack of information through the FFB when the car is at the limit feels horrible to me.

Ive attached my ffb wheel settings
