Hey all!

I’ve been trying to find an answer to this question for years now, and it’s led me to Reddit.

To put it simply, my father’s abused and cheated on my mother ever since I was a child while she had cancer. It traumatised me as a kid but when I grew up I finally got the courage to stand against him on multiple occasions.

As a Muslim, will I be held to account? There’s a lot about respecting your parents and all I get that, but when it comes to this it clouds my mind. I can’t quite explain the mark it’s left on me and my mother.

The marks that get left on women due to abusive husbands makes my blood boil. Both the visible and invisible marks.

But the children that get caught up in that are rarely talked about in my opinion. I believe they should be too.

I’m a final year medical student with around 3 years of experience as a tutor. I teach O/A level sciences, English, IELTS, public speaking, and certain MBBS subjects too (Pathology, Physiology, Community Medicine and Anatomy). I also offer in-house counselling sessions because I believe that tutoring is more than just learning about the subject, and I’ve also studied in the UK for a considerable period of time.

I also have experience working as a student counsellor, meaning that I’m well equipped to help with personal statements, essays, etc. I’d like to include these services in my tuition package though instead of doing them separately.

I’m currently looking to take 2 students on board for the subjects above, and am available to teach in the following areas in RWP/ISB:

Bahria Phase 7 & 8
DHA I
Adyala
Morgah, Gulshan Abad
Askari 14
