So, I misspelled my own last name for the first time ever. It is missing one letter, it is hardly noticeable. I only really truly noticed because I couldn’t find my booking in my BA app.
I have been trying to fix it for days, I called the agent first, Carlton leisure and they have been so uncooperative and essentially told me the cancel and book my non-refundable flight again. I called BA a few times and one of the customer service agents mentioned that they get control of the ticket 24hrs before the flight and could fix my misspelling then and there.
I just wonder if this would work? Carlton leisure’s excuse is that the flight is booked with multiple airlines (I have a connection with Caribbean airlines) so it got denied. I don’t want to bank on this option only to be told by BA 24hrs before my flight that they can’t fix my mistake because it’s a connected flight.
Maybe I’m being paranoid but this flight was booked last minute and I’m so stressed about my silly mistake.
