Overall, I do enjoy the app and think it has strong potential. However, from my experience, it does not feel significantly different from other astrology apps currently available, especially for users who already have a foundational understanding of astrology.
As someone who would consider myself an intermediate beginner, I’ve noticed that the app often requires a baseline level of astrological knowledge in order to assess the accuracy of the information it provides. There have been multiple instances where I’ve asked specific questions and received responses that were either inaccurate or based on incorrect data.
For example, when I asked about a recent solar and lunar eclipse, the app initially referenced a lunar eclipse from 2024 in Pisces. Because I have enough familiarity with eclipse cycles and placements, I was able to recognize that this was incorrect and question it. After pushing back, the app corrected itself and referenced the appropriate 2026 eclipse. However, this raises a concern: a user without that level of knowledge may not realize the error and could accept the information at face value.
Additionally, the app asked me to identify where the eclipse fell within my own chart, despite already having access to my birth data. This felt counterintuitive, as one of the primary benefits of using an app like this is having those calculations and interpretations generated for the user. Being prompted to supply that information myself diminished the overall user experience.
In another instance, during a synastry interpretation, the app described me as being predominantly influenced by air and earth elements. This stood out to me as inaccurate, given that my chart is more evenly distributed across the elements. Again, when I challenged the response, the app acknowledged the mistake and adjusted its interpretation.
These experiences highlight a broader concern: the app performs well when the user does not have enough knowledge to question it, but for users with even moderate familiarity, inconsistencies become more apparent. This creates a dynamic where accuracy is partially dependent on the user’s ability to verify the information, which may limit its reliability for beginners, the very audience that would likely benefit most from a tool like this.
That said, I do want to emphasize that the app has strengths. It offers insightful interpretations and, at times, encourages deeper engagement with astrological concepts. In my case, it has even prompted me to think more critically about my own interpretations and continue developing my understanding.
However, the inconsistency in accuracy remains a concern. For users without a foundational understanding of astrology, there is a risk of being guided by incorrect information without realizing it. Addressing this issue would significantly strengthen the app’s credibility and overall user experience.
