Issue with pay during LOA

Just asking y'all before I look into legal counsel, I'm on a paid LOA that's medical, I've been going back and forth with my new case manager about my pay because my last case manager told me Amazon would cover 60% of my income if the SDI was denied/ waiting for approval. This new case manager has argued that Amazon would be willing to if I signed an agreement that I would reimburse Amazon for the money they pay me. This leads me to my main issue though, my most recent paycheck was exactly 3 cents and the app says 25 dollars, I had called HR and spoke with them about this issue and they looked at the LOA and the pay and actually confirmed that Amazon is supposed to be covering 60% of my pay while I'm waiting on SDI. I had since emailed the case manager but he actively avoided that part of my email and made no response to it as of yet. (I sent this email on the 6th of this month). Several people are suggesting I get an attorney ASAP but I know how shiesty Amazon is and all of their weird loopholes. If any of y'all could give me any advice I would massssssively appreciate it.
