Made some changes based on a few tips!

I started off with the short hair that really didn't interact with the character much and it was uneven and wonky so I changed it so that I'd fall over her shoulders and lastly I added lighting and I highlighted her teeth, eyes, and nose a bit better to make her features pop better.

How do I make hair feel more "real"?

I honestly have a lot I want to learn to do better, I'm not great at doing full body drawings on digital yet because it still is uncomfortable to use but I was wondering how to make the hair feel more dynamic and less bland, I also wish my gradient from light to dark was better but that'll take time getting used to. For anyone wondering I use Sketchbook personally because of the free drawing apps I've tried this one feels less busy and confusing (Not the best with technology). Any feedback would be appreciated even if it's not tips on hair!

This little Moorish Gecko comes around mostly at night to catch bugs that are attracted to the light outside my house but it's neat to see it out during the day nearby. They are almost two inches long now!
