So I've been drawing on Procreate for a year or two now, even tying it into my physical painting process by tracing references in Procreate, printing them out, then pasting to a canvas and painting that. This was really cool to experiment with!
Though earlier this year, I had a change in my job and it forced me to make some moves/money! So I reached out to an old contact about helping with his band's logo and we agreed to work together, and after the first logo, we agreed on a deal that would let me help them with both digital asset creation and a lyric video for this new single, "//breathe".
I immediately realized I had an issue, as I couldn't make abstract VIDEO loops, only abstract still images. upon further research, I discovered this program that apparently just came out few months prior and was AMAZED at how easily I could contort/manipulate the images I could only make static before.
ANYWAYS, here is the video which just came out today! The band is named Newslang, here is their IG.
Any feedback, comments, etc would be appreciated. There's for sure things I would have changed, but it was so helpful to go through this experience to learn the things I can improve in the future!
