me and my close friend (both f24) are sharing a flat. we have a two story house with a bedroom and a small terrace on the second floor. the terrace is only accessible from that bedroom and that is my friends bedroom. i normally text her whether her room is ok for me to get to the terrace however we ended up arguing last week since she said that the room was a mess.

ps: she doesnt always return to my texts, so i dont get to use the terrace generally

also we share the rent equally and agreed that the terrace was common space.

need opinions on how to navigate this situation
