I am looking for a new credit card. I will not be renewing my Amex Green as I feel there are better options out there. I already have had the Amex Gold and downgraded to the green after the AF increase. At this point I won’t use the credits so I don’t want to go back. I also don’t think I want to bite the bullet on the Platinum yet as I don’t think it makes sense.

Right now I currently use my business plus for almost everything except for dining. My 2 cash back cards either aren’t worth sacrificing the points or aren’t typical categories that I spend in. What I have been leaning towards and think will fit me best is something that gives me some airline benefits at an affordable price. I book about 2 flights per year and because I live in the Minneapolis area Delta is the preferred and most accessible airline. I am intrigued by their free bag policy with their Amex cards. I also plan on redeeming a chunk of my Amex points soon on a flight so if there is a card that helps me be more efficient with point redemption I would be curious to look into that.

I am open to all cards but have more of a bias towards points rather than cash back. I also would prefer a personal card but open to whatever is best. I am intrigued to hear what people recommend as I am open to anything. Thanks
