Hi everyone, im seeking for help and guidance for my career.

For context I’m a 26M I have both a masters degree in aerospace engineering and mechanics and a masters degree in engineering management and leadership from a top university. I also have a combined engineering/management experience of just shy of two years.

I recently received an offer for a role (technical project manager) at a top aviation company, it is a contract position that pays 85k yearly. The company is known to transfer to direct hire within 1-2 years. This position is full time on site.

I also have a job offer at the same company for also a contract position (flammability engineer) that pays 100k yearly. This position has less likelihood to be transferred to direct hire within the first 1-2 years. This position is a hybrid role 3 days in office and 2 days from home.

Im not sure which to choose, I feel like the technical project manager position would suit me more and would be better in the long term, any thoughts are appreciated.
