I’m a native Turkish speaker and I’m looking for a language partner to help me learn Persian (Farsi) .
I have a deep passion for History. While I’m very familiar with the Ottoman and Timurid eras, I’ve also done a deep dive into Iranian History. From ancient times to the more recent centuries, I find the heritage of the region fascinating.
In addition to history, I am a big fan of Persian Poetry. I’m already familiar with Hafez, and one of my biggest goals is to be able to read his Divan in its original language. If you like literature and history, we will have plenty to talk about!
I am a beginner in Persian (A1-A2). I’ve learned the alphabet and I’m starting to pick up basic phrases. I can offer you Turkish in return—I can help with everything from formal grammar to daily street slang and culture.
