I feel like I see bone? I’m a broke student that already was having a hard time affording surgery. I have a high pain tolerance and am used to chronic pain but have had to take high doses of ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and naproxen in short intervals to deal with the pain. I refuse opioids. It’s not radiating past my jaw but I still can still mainly only tolerate liquids or super soft foods like mashed potatoes and need a warm water rinse after any food to avoid pain flare. I called the Dr’s office yesterday and they said just to give it time and keep following directions as I have been and said that because I’ve smoked in the past it may heal slower… is this normal?
