I had some bloodwork done because of a suspected celiac disease. Most of the results came back normal except from low iron and an elevated white blood cells count (15,5). I was curious if anyone who has been dealing with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity has had that experience?
For background I have had a negative blood test for TTG-Iga antibodies (IgA at 0,74) but I had a positive at home test a week prior. I had stopped eating gluten completely when I saw the positive home test so it’s possible I missed the window for formal diagnosis. I am not seeking that diagnosis because I don’t want to be eating gluten anymore. The past 6 months have been a nightmare for me (I have had 2 miscarriages) and I have had many ailments in the past years so I want to focus on healing.
