I was sent $600 followed by many requests to send the money back as it was sent on “accident”. Now obviously I can tell that this is a scam and I don’t plan on touching that money. But what happens to it? Will Venmo eventually flag it as fraud and take it from my account? Will it just sit there for months or be gone soon? It’s so tempting to just transfer it to my bank account 😅 but I know better than that, I’m just curious as to what’s gonna happen to it.
