Why don't they punish these people enough?

NTA, is incompetent, we all know that. But you know what's more incompetent? the system.
leaks used to happen even when cbse, aipmt used to conduct neet (re neets 2016,2015 why did they happen? leak, right?)

these people who buy papers, people who sell papers especially. shouldn't they get a death sentence? a life sentence at least? is it a joke to them? playing with lives of 22 lakh children? are we a joke to the system?

no matter how well the security gets, leaks exist. because of a corrupt system, because of lack of PROPER punishment. why do you think people get involved in this corruption? because they know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING would happen to them. If one example is set, they are executed publicly one year, do you think next year anybody would dare to do the same again?

kabhi kabhi lagta hai "Rang De Basanti" movie ke footsteps follow karoon, karna chahiye kya?

(i know this is going a bit dark, feel free to remove the post if it goes againts the sub rules. The news has officially fked up my brain now. it's not even because of myself, i was scoring around 564 and leaving neet this year so it didn't matter much for me, but the rest of you... the system... just.. nvm)

Legit backup options for PCB students

i feel so sad seeing you bright students disappointed and measuring your worth by just one day of the year. Let me share some options for you guys, because NEET ain't the end of the world.

Most of these are inspirations from my family, neighbours, relatives and few of them I've researched myself in the past week.

1. BAMS (neighbour inspired)
pros: 85% guarantee of income, high scope for entrepreneurship, works better in cities than villages, rich people love it, skincare industry, has govt. jobs too.
cons: prolly won't work out of India

2. Nursing (relative inspired)
highly highly underrated course.
pros: best opportunity to go abroad, 100% guaranteed employment even from private colleges, can get a job wherever in India- city or village or even beach towns, great govt jobs whose salary touches 1 lakh soon.
cons: some uneducated gawars won't respect you, less seats for men.

3. SSC CGL/chsl/mts/steno (self researched)
for people who are tired of NEET but didn't run out of the competitive spirit:
dekho competition is everywhere, but 'tis not as tough as mbbs through NEET, especially if maths and english are your forte. and chsl is pretty easy to crack, just open the previous year question and see for yourself.
pros: quick settlement, stable govt. job, after clearing one competition you won't have to sit for another like neet pg, pretty respectable sarkari babu wala job, work life balance.
cons: english thoda tough hai for hindi medium people but nothing undoable, pcb student hai hum so most of us might hate maths, uncertainty.

4. Biotechnology (family)
for those who have signed up for CUET:
pros: opportunities abroad, professor or researcher life, my didi gets to travel a lot for research stuff, earlier settlement.
cons: not much scope in India yet unless you wanna be a professor, might be a tad bit costly.

5. Agriculture+MBA (friend ka bhai)
bro did bsc agri from a private college, MBA from tier 3 IIM, works in a agro business and earns almost 4-5 lakhs.
pros: costs very less if u secure a govt. seat, guaranteed employment after masters/mba, high earning opportunities, govt. jobs, 75%+ scorers in college gets NTA scholarship-3k a month
cons: have to do masters ig, never seen anybody get a job after just bachelors.

6. B.Pharm+M.pharm/MBA (self researched)
pros: high earning opportunity, easier to move abroad than mbbs and stuff, upsc/state pcs drug inspector govt jobs, lots of private jobs, growing field.
cons: needs masters unless you can be medical representative which has good money too but have to work hard.

7. ITEP BSc-B.Ed integrated (relative inspired)
a 4 years course to be eligible for Tet exam. this course is taught in IIT as well, but unfortunately that exam is over this year. CUET options are still open.
one of my cousin is doing this in IITE Gandhinagar. she wants to be a KV/APS teacher after this. you can also do MSc/MA after it to become 11th 12th ka teacher.
pros: early settlement, work life balance pro max (i've seen my father, there's no life chiller than a govt. teacher's life), decent income can reach 1 lakh and above too, worst case scenario u can't crack a govt. exam then become a yt/offline tuition mafia.
cons: have to sit for govt. teaching job competitive exams, but trust me no competition is as bad as NEET.

8. BDS (who doesn't know this?+ relative inspired)
stop believing in this bs ki saturation hai, if you learn passionately, correctly, you're bound to have patients. both my relative and her husband are dentists, she studied from a private college, she didn't get a job sadly but her chamber does pretty well, and her husband studied from a govt college, has a govt. interview based job plus does rounds in a private hospital and earns more than enough, literally.
iska cons pro i have't researched, one cons would be requires good rank in neet.

9. IISER/NEST
sir/ma'am if you're intelligent enough to even consider this, fuck neet, you're way too good for NEET. ye karlo aap, seriously. my ex girlfriend's brother is in Australia, studied in IISER Berhampur. no cons honestly, no cons.

10. BPT/BOT
Idk much about this, but heard it's a growing field now as well. you yourself can research on it.

11. BBA/AI from private college+MBA
If you don't love bio, switch to this. one of my friends switched to this after his first attempt in NEET, he's building skills now., says there are lots of opportunity. Again, don't know much about it, but feel free to research further.

12. NEET, firse.
if you love medicine, then you love medicine, nothing else would ever satisfy you until you give your last and final try, until you're mentally exhausted and disgusted by neet.
everybody says mbbs is saturated now, low paying jobs, high stress, no work life balance.
but if all of that seems like just noise to you, if none of that matters, if you just want to dedicate your blood, sweat and tears to helping people, if you’re prepared to grind for the high paying job instead of expecting it on a silver platter, then go for it again.
fuck these people who judge you for following your dream (only if it really is "your" "dream"), because after 30 years when you look back you'll have nobody else to blame except yourself. So, think, and make your decision.

before ending, i'll say, whatever you choose, if you're passionate about it you'll make your way in it. i've seen people succeeding in even BA History hons. Nothing is impossible as long as you LOVE your course.

sooo this was my second drop. don't bash me but i scored only 170 in my first attempt with 12th, and then 180 in my first drop year. idk why i was never serious at that time, if i could i would've gone back just to slap myself for that. anyways, that's past.

this year i started my prep seriously from August. i had taken aakash aiats offline tests but couldn't attempt more than 2 because the centre was pretty far from my home. i didn't take any pw batch too because honestly i felt i was too dumb to understand their 2025 level content. i self studied from youtube instead and gave few offline tests at home in the month of April.

According to the answer key i'm scoring 500 this year. i was not specifically starstruck with mbbs(maybe that's the reason i didnt study at all the first two years), i just wanted ANY government seat that would guarantee me a job, except maybe nursing because i've ony heard negative stuff about it from people who are in the field.
given this year's rank inflation, i don't think i'd even get BAMS.
