Genuine question.
The more I train and talk to people, the more it feels like a huge percentage of amateur endurance athletes are permanently carrying fatigue.
Not overtrained in the clinical sense. Just constantly slightly under-recovered, training through poor sleep, stacking stress from work/life/training, normalising feeling tired all the time
And I’m not convinced most apps help much. They give tons of metrics, but not much actual guidance.
Curious what others think:
Is this real or am I imagining it?
What signals do you personally trust most?
Have any apps/coaches genuinely helped you avoid burnout or plateauing?
