just some thoughts on how to better balance poison/antidote shots. i see 2 big issues with poison at the moment that make a bit weak.

  1. antidote negates all poison effects. seeing as 4 shot boons are so common during events, it makes poison ammo almost useless. even outside of events, an antidote shot lasts quite long. no other ammo/damage type gets completely negated like this by a cheap/plentiful item.

  2. there is no audiovisual cue that a hunter is poisoned like there is with the bleeding/burning/choked status effects.

i suggest the following changes:

what if the antidote shot didnt fully negate poison, but instead: allows you to heal while poisoned, while keeping the audio/visual debuff. that way, its not a complete counter to poison traps/ammo, and can still disorient players and offer an opportunity to apply pressure

on top of this, add an outward audiovisual cue for the poison status. maybe a slight green stink cloud lol, or grunting similar to bleeding, without the spilling blood sound effect.

mithridatist needs a rebalance/merge anyways imo, but in line with the above changes, it could make you immune to the audio/visual debuff, while still shortening the blocked healing time. that way, youd need to run both the trait and an antidote shot to be fully immune from poison.
