I'm a bit confused, can someone explain how they're different? moreover after exploring this sub a little i found that some are against naming servitors as it gives them a chance to gain autonomy, does this mean a servitor with a name is promoted into a familiar when it does gain autonomy? also I haven't created the servitor yet but I did create it's sigil and I was wondering if i should add to it by binding it to a vessel I made but I'm not sure about it, any advice?

I'm a rather recent practitioner and I discovered chaos only after i learned of my deceased father being involved in it, and I am very poorly experienced so please do forgive me if parts of what I say sound stupid. I'm making this post because a few days ago i created a sigil as a test to see if I could manifest the effects, those being better memory and focus towards preparing for a specific exam, but after I went through the standard procedure of meditating then destroying the sigil the next morning I was bitten by my own pet dog when attempting to drag him away from a fight with another dog, and all the rabies shots I've been taking for it as precaution have done nothing but make me incapable of studying. At first i thought it was just a coincidence but I now have a reason to believe I may have malicious intentions directed towards me, and I partly think maybe the sigil misfired due to a flaw in my own belief... is this just an issue with my own faith? (PS I'm somewhat okay now still feverish from the vaccines but the meds are helping)
