Last Monday I visited my brother’s grave and made dua for him. Standing there really puts everything into perspective… how temporary this life is, and how much we all rely on Allah’s mercy in the end.
May Allah grant him Jannah, widen his grave, and fill it with noor. Ameen.
We’ve started a small sadaqah jariyah project in his name — raising funds to build a small mosque. Alhamdulillah we’ve reached £500 so far, but our goal is £3,500.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean a lot. And if you can’t, please keep him in your duas.
Let’s come together and do something that continues to benefit him in the hereafter 🤍
I’ve seen a few people asking where the donation money is actually going, and honestly, that’s a fair question. Transparency matters, especially when it comes to charity.
I just want to reassure everyone that every penny being raised is going towards real, verified projects. We’re working directly with Seeking Rewards Foundation, who are responsible for building the water wells and the masjid on behalf of my late brother, Abdul Said.
I’ll be sharing clear proof — including receipts, progress updates, and any media they provide — so you can see exactly how your donations are being used. This isn’t just talk, it’s something we’re actively following through on.
So far, we’ve already:
• Planted 5 olive trees in his name
• Started raising funds for a water well (updates coming soon)
• Begun the journey towards building a small masjid
This means everything to me and my family. We’re trying to turn something painful into ongoing الخير (good deeds) for him.
If you’ve donated, thank you sincerely — may you be rewarded. If you’re still unsure, I completely understand, and I hope the proof I’m sharing helps give you that confidence.
If anyone has questions, feel free to ask. I’m happy to be open about everything.
May Allah accept it from all of us 🤍
Assalamu Alaikum ورحمة الله وبركاته,
Today is Jummah, a blessed day where even the smallest act of charity carries immense reward.
I’m raising funds in memory of my late brother, Abdul Said. He meant everything to us, and we’re trying to continue doing الخير on his behalf so it benefits him in the hereafter, InshaAllah.
Even £1 can make a difference. Don’t underestimate it — what seems small to us can be عظیم in the sight of Allah.
If you’re able to help, please donate using the link in bio. If you can’t donate, please upvote and share so others can see.
May Allah reward you all, forgive our brother, and grant him Jannah 🤲
JazakAllah khair.
My brother, Abdul Said, made one of the bravest decisions a person can make — he asked for help.
He was struggling with his mental health, and instead of suffering in silence, he admitted himself into a mental health unit because he believed he would be safe there. He trusted the system. He trusted the people whose job it is to care for the vulnerable.
But he never came back home.
His life ended inside the very place that was supposed to protect him.
We are left with questions that no family should ever have to ask. How does someone go into a mental health unit seeking help… and end up losing their life? Where were the staff? What safeguards were in place? Why did the system fail him so badly?
This isn’t just about my brother. This is about a broken system.
The staff failed him. The system failed him. And ultimately, the government failed him.
Mental health patients are some of the most vulnerable people in society. They deserve care, protection, dignity, and compassion — not neglect.
My brother mattered. His life mattered. And what happened to him cannot just be brushed aside or forgotten.
We are speaking up because he no longer can.
We want accountability.
We want answers.
We want justice.
If you’ve ever trusted a system to take care of someone you love, imagine how it feels to have that trust shattered forever.
Please don’t let his story be ignored.
