I own EDC items, (Leatherman Wave+, pocket knives, flashlights ext.), but sometimes I am to scared to use them as I am scared it will get damaged or scuffed up. Which sometimes makes me feel that I do not own them, but they own me. Weird, I know.

I would just like to know, if I own a Wave +, is it worth upgrading to a Surge, and is it even a upgrade?
