I’ve just completed my final year MBBS and I’m starting my dedicated inicet preparation.
I’m a bit confused about how to structure my approach and would really appreciate guidance from seniors who’ve been through this.
My main dilemma:
• Should I focus more on building main notes (from standard sources like Marrow) and revise them multiple times?
• Or should I prioritize RR + heavy MCQ practice from the beginning and learn through questions?
Some specific doubts:
• Is it worth investing time in making my own notes now, or should I rely on RR notes directly?
• How many MCQs per day are ideal during the initial phase and what source of mcq?
• What strategy worked best for you in terms of retention and rank improvement?
Goal: Aiming for a top rank, so I’m ready to put in the hours but want to follow the most effective strategy.
Would really appreciate honest advice, especially from recent toppers or those who saw big improvements.
Thanks in advance!
