Gathering Opinions and Collecting Information
For context I am 50 years old. I have a 30 mile round trip commute to work. I average about 15 miles an hour with some pedal assist on an EBike. I ride about 3 times a week. My battery life hasn’t been giving me the amount of miles that it did a year or two ago. So here are my choices and where I would love to hear your thoughts…
The battery isn’t dead right now but I can see the obvious diminishing returns over time will continue to decline.
I can pay $1000 for a new battery. I have a 2020 Specialized Turbo Vado. It is not the SL version. The range extender is therefore not an option as I understand it.
I could get another bike that is the SL version.
I could get a road bike that isn’t an EBike and then I won’t have to deal with a battery.
