Hello all,
I recently received my COPR as a CEC Outland applicant, and I have a question regarding travel before landing in Canada.
My visa and COPR are both valid until September 2nd, which means I must enter Canada before that date to complete the landing process.
Before I do that, I am considering a short trip to the United Kingdom for about two weeks.
I want to understand if traveling to another country before entering Canada could create any issues with my COPR or affect the landing process in any way.
From what I understand, the key requirement is to enter Canada before the expiry date mentioned on the COPR and visa. I have not come across any rule that restricts travel to other countries before the initial landing, but I want to be cautious and make sure I am not overlooking anything important.
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has clarity on this, I would appreciate your guidance.
Thank you in advance for your help.
