Interested in people's thoughts on this second round series. Knicks won in 2024 but both rosters have changed a lot since then. In the regular season, they're tied 2-2, but Embiid missed a couple of those games.
KAT vs Embiid is an important matchup to me. Historically, Embiid has gotten the better of KAT, but KAT could in theory draw Embiid out of the paint, and KAT is a pretty decent post defender from what I remeber, he did a good job on Jokic a couple years ago. Mitchell Robinson guards Embiid pretty well, but Mitch is pretty foul-heavy and doesn't seem to be able to play heavy minutes much.
Maxey has also kinda torched the Knicks, and putting KAT at the five would make the Knicks' defense vulnerable to pick-and-roll. Brunson wasn't too great in the first half of the 2024 series, but after the second half, he was pretty hard to stop.
On the wings, PG looks amazing right now, and OG is starting to heat up. Bridges, on the other hand, basically looks like he forgot to play basketball. Honestly, I think it will be hard to tell to wins but I think it goes to 6 or 7 regardless
