OK, so I’ve had insomnia for over 20 years and I’ve had sleep apnea for about eight years. I started walking a minimum of 6 miles a day for the last three days. Last night when I went to sleep was the first time I’ve slept for eight hours in probably over 15 years. I also walked 7 miles yesterday. I actually feel amazing. I would normally sleep for two hours maybe three and I would wake up. This is so motivating for me to keep going.

The context. I’m 5 foot nine 280 pounds almost 47-year-old male. I am very overweight. I joined this page maybe a couple of weeks ago. It lit a little fire in my butt for me to get up and start walking again. The furthest that I’ve ever walked before today is about 5 miles. I’m happy and very grateful that I was able to do this. Now it’s time for consistency. Don’t give up.
