Has anyone at COMSATS Islamabad actually benefited from the financial aid/endowment fund that was supposedly introduced at the beginning of this semester?

I recently approached the scholarship department regarding it, but one of the staff members informed me that the initiative had been “discarded” by the Rector. Frankly, the response seemed rather ambiguous and unconvincing. In my experience, the administrative staff often tend to obfuscate matters or dismiss students without providing any substantive clarification.

I just want to know whether anyone successfully applied for or received assistance through this fund, or if the entire thing quietly vanished without implementation.
