35M | Southeastern US | Looking for genuine friendships
Hey everyone. Figured I’d give this a shot because making actual friends as an adult feels way harder than it probably should.
I’m 35, retired military, and now working in the aerospace industry. Most days are the usual cycle of work, responsibilities, trying to keep up with life, and realizing somewhere along the way I stopped really having people to consistently talk to outside of family/work.
A few things I’m into:

- Pokémon & MTG
- Rock/metal/alternative music
- Writing and reflecting on life experiences
- Random deep conversations at 1 AM
- Memes and dumb humor mixed with serious conversations
I’m pretty laid back overall and tend to get along best with people who can actually hold a conversation and want something beyond two messages before disappearing forever.
