Be aware guys

19M I was on the 59 tonight going home and this man was recording me, very obvious as I could see in the windows reflection zooming in on my face. He was doing this for about 10 minutes and he knew that I knew, he was doing this weird grin almost like he was proud of himself, and then I had enough and got off.

He followed me off and I asked "Were you recording me" and he just said "yes" and started going on a ramble. I decided to play it safe and just walk away with the crowd.

If you are ever in danger, just leave as soon as you can, or if there is a PSO around (there was not for me) let them know as it can get physical really quick.

Overall the situation just really angered me, mainly because he most likely still has that video of me on his phone.

Absolutely zoned out for the rest of the job interview once they said that.

19M I currently already have a part time job, but just wanted to pick something else up as a small side hustle. It was a entry level casual position just being a server at a local cafe.

They did not inform me of this until the interview where the guy said "For the first 6 or so months, you will not be getting paid in order for you to fully settle yourself into the workplace." I just said okay. I walked out of that interview absolutely baffled. I will not be getting back to them.. For obvious reasons.

Isn't this illegal?

I’m 19M. I’ve been friends with this group of guys (group of 6) since high school. We’ve been on camps, holidays, everything. But I’ve noticed they’ve stopped inviting me and one other friend to most hangouts – I’d say about 80% of them. This has been going on for over a year.

They lied about it too. I asked if they were busy and they said yes, but they were actually hanging out together. I confronted them about it a week ago, and one of them made me feel like an idiot, like I was overreacting and didn’t know any better.

After thinking it over, I’ve realised I can’t be friends with these guys anymore. They don’t even realise they’re excluding me, and if they don’t realise it, that means they simply don’t care.

I have no other friend group, so I know loneliness is coming.

(I have a girlfriend but I don't want to put all my loneliness on her)

Not sure where to post this because this is just bizarre. 19M living in Melbourne, just doing casual work since I'm also juggling uni. Anyways, two weeks ago I finally landed this job at a warehouse, but over the past two weeks, five other jobs that I applied for even going months back are now emailing and calling asking to organise an interview, or even to do a trial shift lol

Like this would of been helpful 8 months ago, as soon as I finally land a decent gig they all want me now??? Does this happen often? And why?

Anyone else like this?

19,M I recently started working in a small warehouse just picking random items, it's fine but holy moly is it boring. But once the paycheck comes in, I realize that the reason I do this is because I actually get money from it. It's pretty cool. (it's rly good pay)

Sometimes I gotta remind myself that it's a privilege I have a job in this current job market.
