wth is up with insurance?
Hey friends! can anyone help me understand my insurance situation better? Yesterday a car collided with my front end while it was being chased by a few cops. I'm waiting on the police report, so i don't know anything about the driver. the damage to my truck is superficial, scratches and dents to the drivers side front end and bumper, with a chunk missing from the front aluminum rim. i reported it to cops, then called my insurance. my adjuster said that if the damage to the vehicle is over 80% of $7k, the truck would be considered a total loss and the title would be salvage. I'm shocked. i have a 2014 trd pro extended cab, excellent condition, just did my 100k mile tune up and currently at 100,800 miles. am i insane to think the truck is worth more than $7k? **I'm not asking what my truck is worth, I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with insurance who may know more about the process**
