I’m not sure if it’s common in places with individual rent (Palazzo, Avery, Bulldog Village, etc) or just a Fresno thing
But does anyone have problems with getting bad roommates?
My current roommate has a dog and is always barking.The girlfriend also has access to the apartment which is technically against the lease but at this point I’ve just gave up since people don’t like to be told and it isn’t as bad as my previous living situation.
My previous roommate was a complete slob who would smoke weed inside the apartment, and had his girlfriend living in his room for almost 3 months. She was also a slob and wouldn’t clean up after herself, and they would always wake me up in the early hours of the night with loud s*x noises.
At this point I’m tired of putting up with people’s bullshit and just want my own place. It’s really hard for be to justify paying like $500-600 more a month though.
Anyone else have experience dealing with this?
