I received a letter about a fraud alert and called the number provided in it. The call was automated and asked if I had applied for the card. I confirmed that I had applied and the call ended. However, when I called the same number again to check the progress, it still asked if I had applied for the card. I’m wondering if I need to visit a branch to confirm my identity or if this automated call would be enough.
