I just tried two guided Aphrodite meditations for the first time to try and connect with her better as I need her advice. I feel silly visualizing and felt like both of them ended before anything like.. happened I guess? This was also after I tried bibliomancy for the first time and was frustrated cuz it was inconclusive so maybe i wasn’t in the best head space I’ve done tarot with her it just always takes a longg time for me to do readings even if it’s just 3 questions and it drains my energy so im trying to look into other forms of divination. I used to use pendulums to talk to deities but they’d always end up breaking after a few uses.. anyway yeah what are ways you guys connect with her other than prayers and offerings?

Hello, first of all I just wanted wanted to say I’m new to worshipping Aphrodite although I’ve felt her energy with me for yearss and about 6 years ago I tried reaching out to her and she said I wasn’t ready to work with her yet but in the future I would be and now this year I finally reached out because I kept seeing the birth of Venus painting and feeling so drawn to her and this time she gave me the green light so I set up a altar for her and have been giving her consistent offerings. Now about a year ago I did a self love spell without her assistance so it’s not super relevant but shortly after it fell out of my bag and shattered and you know I always believe mundane over magick so it was probably my fault but this Beltane I did a self love spell and asked for her assistance for the first time in a spell after giving her offerings and I felt it went really well and even found earrings of her at a random shop the next day and purchased them. Just now I was cleaning her altar and realized her offerings got moldy so I disposed of them and as I was cleaning her space I knocked over the self love spell and it shattered. Again probably my fault but the fact this is the second time makes me think I did something wrong it happened in a flash it wasn’t even that close to the edge and it just went flying off her altar onto the floor 😭 is it possible I upset her by letting her offerings get moldy or maybe I asked for her help in my spell work too soon? Or maybe I need to up my wards and do an updated protection spell because something or someone is interfering..? Let me know what you think
