I just used uzin 150f to level the floor area for a small neo angle shower I'll be using the schluter system for and I'm not sure what to do with the 1/2"-1" gaps left on the edge (where a curb will go) and drain area where I had set up foam as a damn. Every video I watched used foam for a damn like I did but nobody ever shows what to do with the gaps left after removing the form. I'm retrospect I feel I should have used flush surfaces at the edges/drain and sealed with silicone.
What's the easiest and reliable way to fill these? Ardex feather finish or similar, or would something like premixed floor patch work? No mixing would be preferred. Would it be reasonably easy to level off along a 90 degree edge using a drywall blade? I also have a small dip in the corner that is less than the max for schluter tray but if easy enough would it make sense to also use the same product to smooth/level that?
Thank you!
