yall i had to tell somebody 😭 I work at this new place and everybody there is the same ethnicity as me. The thing about me is I’m not really out publicly. honestly ive been role playing as a straight christian girl because it just makes everything so much easier to deal with at work. no shade. my culture is very homophobic and it would just end up being a miserable situation if i didnt.
There’s this girl at work and I think she’s really cute but I told myself I’m not even about to play like that at work I’m there for the paycheck!!!
But she keeps calling me pretty, wants me to call her pretty back, grabs my arm, puts her head on my shoulder, just being mad affectionate with me in general. And today is my day off and she literally called me just to tell me she misses me and thinks I’m really sweet. Then she goes “I wanna take you out to dinner” ????
And I’m just sitting here confused because in our culture being gay is VERY taboo so now I can’t tell if she’s actually flirting with me or if I’m just reading too deep into it 😭 like is she being nice orrr whact. Also kinda want to put up boundaries without coming off as rude
