Aluminum window trim with awnings
Previous home owners installed sun awnings on our front, west-facing windows around 1985. They are helpful in the summer but several are now broken and we’d like to remove them. However, they cut into the aluminum trim to attach the arms and then caulked the heck out of it. Is this aluminum trim “easily” removable and replaceable with a PVC trim or would it be better left to a pro? Siding is aluminum too.
