I do had similar experience

it was in 12th grade, i had a board exam. the night before, i stayed up until 1am studying because i wanted to do well. next day, at morning i had an exam.

but the next day in the exam hall, something unexpected happened. i ever felt such an experience before. i got intense anxiety probably a panic attack. my mind just went blank. i couldn’t think properly, couldn’t recall what i studied and couldn’t even improvise answers. it wasn’t about lack of preparation. it felt like my brain just shut down. all i was doing is sweating and struggling to do something, even sitting there was exhausting.

looking back, i realize how important mental health and proper rest are. we focus so much on craving, overloading our brain that might be cause of heavy study, overthinking, long screen time or any mental activities.

if you have an exam or any big moment coming up or even casually, please don’t ignore your mental state. sleep matters. stress management matters. just like the other part of our body, our brain do require rest. just problem is, usually we don't feel pain of brain getting exhausted.
