Some short novels please!
My favorite books recently have been short, but effective novels. I want to up my book count this year, so some short gems will do the trick. To gauge my vibe for reccomendations, the short books I've loved recently were:
- The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. Le Guin (192 p)
- Open Throat by Henry Hoke (172 p)
- I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman (188 p)
My other favorite books are:
- The Push by Ashley Audrain (303 p)
- Demon Cooperhead by Barbara Kingsolver (548 p)
- Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid (337 p)
- Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald (672 p)
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson (192 p)
P.S. I know including the page count of all these books was unnecessary, but it was fun.
