Dear all,

It’s very hard for me to talk about this, but I’ve been feeling like absolute garbage.

I’ve been working out for two years and honestly have not seen much progress. I eat around 1g of protein per pound of body weight, sleep about 8 hours per night, go to bed by 10 p.m., and wake up around 6 a.m. Monday–Sunday.

Despite that, I’m always tired. I have a very hard time getting out of bed every morning and snooze my alarm like crazy. I struggle a lot with motivation and energy, and it has become really hard for me to work out because I feel lazy, drained, and low-energy all the time.

On top of that, I’m always scared of approaching women, I wake up flaccid, I look way younger than my age, and overall I just do not feel right.

I went to my PCP yesterday, and it turns out I barely have any testosterone in my system. My labs were drawn at 7:30 a.m. while fasted. My PCP is going to assess more markers to properly diagnose what’s going on.

Based on what I’ve been reading in the literature, conversations with my physiology professors — I’m in med school lol — and posts on this subreddit, it seems like I may be a candidate for TRT or enclomiphene.

Can anyone speak on their experience or opinion with either of these routes? I do not care about fertility for the next 5–10 years. I just want to feel good: clear mind, more energy, less fatigue, a working sex drive, better confidence, and the ability to actually make progress in the gym.
