i was technically supposed to get my period yesterday but my period tends to be relatively unpredictable so i really have no idea when it’ll come. i’m supposed to go to the beach with my friends tomorrow, we’re gonna spend all day there from the early morning until evening. it’s not a huge deal if it comes beforehand, like today, because i can just be prepared and wear a menstrual cup, but i’m worried it’ll come while i’m at the beach and i won’t be near a bathroom. a lot of beaches have weird bathroom situations or only have gross portable ones, and i really don’t want to have to put in a menstrual cup in a portable bathroom. does anyone have any tips for dealing with potentially getting your period while out somewhere like the beach? is it possible to wear a tampon or menstrual cup even if i’m not bleeding yet just as a preventative measure?
