I just got a letter from my university accusing me of academic misconduct, specially using AI to write "a substantial part" of my dissertation.
For context it was a ~5k psychology dissertation
I am panicking because I don't know why I got accused, I didn't use AI and I've been reading back on my work trying to find somehing that would be seen as written by AI but I don't even know what I'm looking for...
Has anybody been through this? In the letter I received they said they might ask for some documented proof, but the only thing I have are some shabby notes and a google doc which even to me doesn't look convincing now that I'm looking back on it... I don't know what to do and I'm panicking, I don't even know if this subreddit is the right one to ask for this kind of help...
But any would be appreciated regardless
