Weird Red Light Traffic Violation
Hello, so I received a red light traffic violation for making a left turn on a yellow light. The officer said because I was behind the limit line when the light turned yellow that I performed a red light violation. He never stated that the light turned red at any point during my left turn. He also agreed with me that there was no oncoming traffic or dangerous maneuvers. I can request the body cam footage that confirms everything I am saying as I got him to clearly state why he pulled me over and asked for clarification several times. He also told me that the squad car does not have any cameras so that it is “his word against mine”. I think I want to plead not guilty and get the ticket removed in court. I am an EMT with a valid ambulance drivers certificate, I am not a dangerous driver and have a clean record. What do you guys think?
