FBR received 16/6/2025. Nothing heard until today where they asked for clarification via email.

The issue: my great grandfathers name on my grandfathers birth certificate is “Patrick”. However, on my grandfathers marriage certificate it is listed as “Harry”. According to my grandmother he went by “Harry” because there were too many “Patrick’s” in their village.

I explained that in the email while also providing a link to an obituary that further shows evidence that Patrick = Harry. I hope that is enough.

Does anyone know what the turnaround time is for clarifications requested by email?
