I had posted sometime ago About being denied not understanding whyI was given some great advice I knew I had the work credits they sent me a statement showing I have paid into the system since 1984 -2024

I contacted my congress person getting automatic responses. Here’s my a summary of my timeline 10/2023: Discovered lump

11/2023: Evaluated by Caedel Medical; referral issued

12/2023: Mammogram and ultrasound (Southside Radiology)

01/2024: Biopsy (City of Hope)

03/2024: Diagnosis; began chemotherapy and immunotherapy (City of Hope)

05/2024: Hospitalized for sepsis (Piedmont Hospital)

10/2024: Completed initial chemotherapy (City of Hope)

11/2024: Double mastectomy (City of Hope)

12/2024: Resumed chemotherapy/immunotherapy (City of Hope)

06/2025: Completed chemotherapy (City of Hope)

08/2025: DIEP flap reconstruction; 5 days ICU, 14 days inpatient recovery (City of Hope)

09/2025 – 10/2025: Home wound vac due to healing complications

12/2025: Final reconstruction surgery (City of Hope)

as of today still no progress contacted another congress person for them to tell me only one can inquire about my case they were the ones to tell me what office and where it has been in limbo for over a year now. The excuses given are backlogs and staffing shortages

I did the research the compassion allowance was totally ignored. The denial was based on PCP and sepsis hospitalization My cancer treatment was never mentioned. The lawyer stated that happens sometimes that’s not good enough.
