Just finished taking AICE euro paper 1 a couple hours ago, how are we feeling? I started with question B and my response was really good I think, but I barely had time for question A so my response will probably only give me a few points. But overall I think I'll pass with atleast a D or E.

I just finished my AICE Lang exam today and I'm panicking. In all honesty, I really liked the texts that they gave us and I dont think I had issues in terms of struggling to find things to write, I just ran out of time.
I think my biggest mistake was starting off with question 2. I thought it was the right choice, especially since it's worth half the paper, but I ended up spending wayyyyy too much time on it and only probably ~30 minutes for questions 1a and 1b. The good news about that is I think I have a pretty strong response for question 2. The bad news is I barely wrote anything for question 1b.
And although I finished question 1a and initially thought I had a decent response, after talking to my friend and scrolling through Tiktok comments, people are talking about all these things I had no idea you're supposed to write for a review??? Maybe I can say that my teacher this year was pretty awful, she taught us like we were a regular english class until the last month before the exam today. But that's also just an excuse.
I knew what I had to write in terms of the comparative analysis, I just ran out of time. And I think my 1a is okay, but I'm having second thoughts about whether I hit enough marks. My question 2 is pretty solid, but I guess I'll actually find out when I get my score in August.
All in all, I'm just feeling anxious because I completely ran out of time, and I feel like an idiot for not managing it well, especially since half the people in my testing room finished it. Some people finished in like 45 minutes. If I only wrote a paragraph for question 1b, but did decent on questions 1a and 2, what are the chances of getting enough marks for paper 1?
